Un accidente ocurrió este miércoles en la carretera La Farola, entre un camión y un ómnibus que cubre la ruta Baracoa- Santiago de Cuba, donde tres personas resultaron heridas, según reportes preliminares.

Según el periodista Miguel Reyes Mendoza, el ómnibus fue impactado por un camión cerca del Alto de Cotilla.

Testigos explicaron que el camión se vino encima de la guagua y que los pasajeros fueron extraídos por las ventanillas del ómnibus, señala la publicación.

Añade que las personas accidentadas están siendo trasladadas hacia el municipio de Imías.

Refiere Reyes que el Servicio de Urgencias Médicas y la Cruz Roja está activado y según informes preliminares no tienen reportes de casos graves ni fallecidos.

“Al parecer solo hay 3 heridos que fueron recogidos por ambulancia que coincidía en la ruta y fueron trasladados hacia Baracoa”, explica la publicación.
