Un accidente automovilístico este domingo en Bahía Honda, Artemisa, dejó un saldo preliminar de 28 heridos, dos de ellos graves.

Las circunstancias del accidente no han trascendido, pero según informó en Telegram el Periódico Artemisa los involucrados en el suceso son jóvenes militantes de la UJC, que regresaban de un trabajo voluntario de la Empresa Harlem.

Al parecer, según se puede colegir de la foto difundida por Periódico Artemisa el camión donde viajaban los jóvenes se volcó.

Los lesionados son atendidos por el momento en los servicios médicos de Bahía Honda, hasta determinar su traslado, refiere la nota reproducida por Cubadebate.

Los dos heridos graves fueron trasladados al Hospital General Docente Comandante Pinares y al Hospital Nacional.

En 2023, as autoridades cubanas reportaron 729 muertes por accidentes de tránsito, cifra superior a la registrada en 2022.

El pasado año finalizó con 8 556 accidentes de tránsito y 5 938 personas heridas. El factor humano fue responsable del 91 % de estos hechos.
