El expelotero cubano José Ariel Contreras envió a su pueblo un mensaje de apoyo tras las recientes protestas contra el régimen ocurridas en Santiago de Cuba, Bayamo y otras ciudades de la Isla.

La antigua estrella de la selección nacional y luego campeón de las Grandes Ligas con los Medias Blancas de Chicago, confesó estar dolido por la situación que está pasando su país por más de 63 años.

“Quiero hacer este video para darle aliento a nuestros hermanos que están en las calles en Cuba, que sigan fajados, sigan luchando, no se den por vencidos“, pidió.

Contreras señaló que ya es tiempo de que la situación en Cuba cambie definitivamente.

“Quiero que sepan que no están solos, el dolor de ustedes, el sentir de ustedes, es el dolor de todos los cubanos estemos donde estemos. Un abrazo a mi pueblo y a mi gente. Viva Cuba libre, patria y libertad, seguimos juntos”, expresó.
