Joven macheteado en Holguín continúa rehabilitación en La Habana: “Su recuperación es lenta”

Un año y medio después de ser violentamente atacado con un machete durante un robo en Holguín, el joven cubano Lester Domínguez continúa su rehabilitación en La Habana, aunque su recuperación es lenta.

Lester, que no ha podido caminar desde el asalto, empezó en julio un nuevo tratamiento en el hospital Julio Díaz, en La Habana, justo el día de su cumpleaños.

Dos meses después, su padre revela que “sigue ganando en sensibilidad y en cuanto a movimientos”.

“Su recuperación es lenta”, dijo Dennis Domínguez en su muro de Facebook, quien subrayó que a su hijo le faltan libras para su peso.

“Ahí lo vemos haciendo ejercicios para mejorar los movimientos. Y decirles que él sigue enfocado en su rehabilitación hasta ver dónde puede llegar. Lo de Lester es una lesión medular C5 incompleta. (…) Donde tenemos que trabajar más es en el tronco, las partes de la mano y pierna van muy bien”, detalló.
