Detenida y en paradero desconocido la líder de Damas de Blanco, Berta Soler

La líder de las Damas de Blanco, Berta Soler, fue detenida al mediodía del domingo y hasta este martes se encuentra en paradero desconocido, confirmó su esposo, el activista Ángel Moya.

Soler fue arrestada por agentes de la Seguridad del Estado cuando salía de la sede de la organización ubicada en Lawton, La Habana.

Ya la semana anterior, durante su reclusión en la unidad policial del Cotorro,  el oficial de la Seguridad del Estado alias ” Felo” la había amenazado con encarcelarla si salía el próximo domingo.

Han pasado casi 48 horas del arresto y se desconoce su paradero.

Otras Damas de Blanco sufrieron represión este domingo. 

También en la ciudad de Santa Clara fueron arrestadas las Damas de Blanco Yaima Pérez y Marbelis González. Las mantuvieron en una patrulla policial desde las 7 a. m. hasta la 1 p. m. 

En Colón, Matanzas fueron detenidas Mayra García y Yudaxis Pérez para impedirles asistir a la iglesia de la localidad.

El movimiento opositor cumplió 21 años de fundado el 30 de marzo anterior. Desde su creación, en 2003, reúne a esposas y otras familiares de presos políticos cubanos. En 2005 recibieron el Premio Sájarov a la Libertad de Conciencia, otorgado por el Parlamento Europeo.
