Tres estudiantes cubanos y su entrenador participan en el 48 Concurso Internacional Universitario de Programaci\u00f3n (CIUP) que se desarrolla en Astan\u00e1, capital de Kazajist\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 a la agencia estatal Prensa Latina el embajador de Cuba en esa naci\u00f3n, Oscar Santana, el equipo de la isla nombrado \u201cUH Top\u201d est\u00e1 integrado por los estudiantes de la Universidad de La Habana Leonardo Daniel Artiles, Jorge Alejandro Pichardo y Ariel Gonz\u00e1lez, y como entrenador el profesor Hiram Borbolla.<\/p>\n

El diplom\u00e1tico refiri\u00f3 que durante su visita al Centro Internacional de Exposiciones E junto a la c\u00f3nsul Neudys Casanova, comparti\u00f3 con los integrantes del grupo presente en este evento, que est\u00e1 catalogado como el m\u00e1s antiguo de su tipo en el mundo.<\/p>\n

La expectativa de los universitarios cubanos es mejorar los resultados obtenidos por otros colegas de la isla que asistieron a las competiciones anteriores.<\/p>\n

El reporte indic\u00f3 que el grupo est\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ado por el Director Ejecutivo de CIUP Cuba, Tom\u00e1s Orlando Junco, la directora Asistente del CIUP Cuba y de la Sede Cubana Regional 2025 en la Universidad de Holgu\u00edn, Yisel Clavel, y el director General del CIUP para la Regi\u00f3n del Caribe, Dovier Antonio Ripoll.<\/p>\n

Precisamente Ripoll coment\u00f3 que Cuba participa en estos eventos desde 2010 y el colectivo que ahora compite gan\u00f3 su clasificaci\u00f3n en la Semifinal Mundial celebrada en marzo de 2024 en Guadalajara, M\u00e9xico, donde compitieron junto a otros 39 equipos de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe.<\/p>\n

El CIUP es una competencia anual de programaci\u00f3n de computadoras que se realiza entre equipos de tres estudiantes-concursantes y un entrenador.<\/p>\n

Cada grupo trabaja para resolver problemas del mundo real, fomentando la colaboraci\u00f3n, la creatividad, la innovaci\u00f3n y la capacidad de trabajar bajo presi\u00f3n, concluy\u00f3 el citado medio.<\/p>\n
