Patrocinadores del parole recibirán cita para toma de huellas

Los patrocinadores del parole humanitario recibirán una cita digital para proporcionar sus huellas digitales al programa, informó Martí Noticias.

Un funcionario de USCIS, que habló bajo condición de anonimato con ese medio, confirmó que los patrocinadores no necesitan esperar una carta física; pueden presentarse en el centro de procesamiento con el recibo digital que reciben en su cuenta de USCIS.

Este proceso, que tiene un costo de 30 dólares, se realizará a través de la cuenta digital de USCIS del patrocinador. 

Este cambio surge tras la suspensión temporal del programa en agosto debido a informes de fraude.

Durante la pausa, se llevó a cabo una revisión exhaustiva para analizar tendencias específicas y determinar si realmente había habido fraude.
 
Solo un número muy reducido de personas fueron remitidas a las autoridades para una investigación más profunda por sospecha de actividades fraudulentas o criminales.
Actualmente hay más de dos millones de solicitudes de Parole Humanitario en espera. 

Hasta la fecha, más de 530 mil personas han llegado a EE.UU. a través de este programa desde su inicio en enero de 2023, incluyendo más de 110 mil cubanos.
