Cubanos gritan “Patria y Vida” en masiva protesta en Santiago de Cuba

La multitudinaria protesta que ocurre este domingo en Santiago de Cuba, donde los pobladores han salido a manifestarse contra los prolongados cortes de la energía eléctrica, la escasez de alimentos, y la mala gestión gubernamental a las crisis que vive el cubano, también están matizadas por el grito de “Patria y Vida”.

Desde las horas de la tarde de este domingo, se reportan en la céntrica Avenida de Carretera del Morro y calle 9 de Veguita de Galo, en la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba, protestas antigubernamentales.

“Patria y Vida”, es un lema de protesta que se utilizó en las manifestaciones de Cuba de julio de 2021. La frase está inspirada en una canción homónima y es una modificación del lema del gobierno cubano “Patria o Muerte”.

El Ministerio del Interior (MININT) de Cuba considera que gritar “Patria y Vida” es un delito de instigación a delinquir, según ejemplificó una coronela en un programa especial de Humberto López dedicado a desprestigiar las protestas del 11J.
